From Vehicle Concept to Industrial Program
AOI is developing an extended-range electric vehicle designed around African roads, climate, operating distances, infrastructure, and customer requirements.
The program combines vehicle engineering, prototype development, supplier relationships, workforce training, manufacturing planning, and the progressive localization of selected components.
The wheels are electrically driven at all times. A configurable battery provides the primary driving energy, while an onboard generator protects the battery reserve during extended trips and demanding duty cycles.
