Alpha Omega Industries S.A.R.L. (AOI) is an automotive engineering and industrial-development company based in Dakar, Senegal.
AOI is developing extended-range electric vehicles designed specifically for African roads, climate, operating distances, infrastructure, and customer needs.
Rather than adapting a vehicle created for another market, AOI is building its vehicle architecture around the realities of African mobility.

The AOI EREV Approach
AOI’s extended-range electric vehicle is electrically driven at the wheels.
A configurable battery provides primary driving energy, while an onboard generator protects the battery reserve during long trips or demanding operating conditions.
This arrangement is intended to provide the advantages of electric propulsion without making the customer entirely dependent on charging infrastructure.
